Emma's Birthday Tea

Silly Aunt Sheri

My sister Emma turned 10 on October 1. We went to a tea room and there were lots of cookies, pastries, sandwiches and tea. I liked the peanut butter and jelly. I had chamomille tea like I do at home when we have tea. I like the ginger cookies too.

They had hats and dresses that were really old that we could dress up in. It was fun.

Afterwards we went shopping but it was too expensive. Emma got a teapot from Grandma for her birthday.

Then we went and had manicures. That was lots of fun.

My Cousin Jack

My cousin Jackson is 6. He loves to play with Jefferson and me. He might be moving to Maricopa. My aunt will be a counselor and my uncle is a doctor. They helped start a new church out there. Oasis. I would like to visit their church because Nate and Harrison, his brothers, sometimes play in the band. Nate plays the drums, Harrison plays the guitar. They are really good. I wonder what instrument Jack wants to play. I want to sing.

My Cousin

My cousin Emilie is very sweet. She plays with me all the time when she's here. She is so much fun to play with. I wish I could see her next week when I get to hear her mom Sheri speak in California. I get to see her brother Jake though.

Last week she dislocated her elbow. I talked to her afterwards and she's okay, I'm glad. She just turned 8 on October 23. I wish I was there in Oregon for her birthday and when she got hurt.

Emilie came to visit in September and this picture is where we are sliding down our slide with cold water. It was SOOOOOOOOO much fun.

On the Beach

Today was very pretty on the beach. Sunny.

My nana and papa Shepherd are visiting his sister and will come visit us soon.

Today I played on the beach, Jefferson got a bee sting and learned how to bump a volleyball.

My cousin Emilie dislocated her elbow. She lives in Oregon. I wish I could see her.

I went swimming in the pool and jacuzzi.

Then Emma and I started the laundry and then we looked at books in the library here. I like fat books. I got James Michener's Alaska book. It's huge.

I can't wait to go to Disneyland. Hopefully, we'll go Friday.

That's all for now. I miss my friends, Jemima, Madelein, Abby, Zion, Galilee, Nicky and Bailey and Grace and Mattie.

Pickle

I love to play pickle with my family. How you play is, there are two 'throwers.' One on one side of the field and the other opposite them. Everyone else is a 'runner.' You have two plates one on each side where the throwers stand and that is where the runners run to. The throwers throw a ball back and forth and the runners run across the field trying to get to the other plate. The way to tag a runner is to touch them with the ball. Once you do that, the runner and the thrower switch places. The game just keeps going on until you want to stop! The runners are pickles in a jar trying to get out! Try it, it's fun!

Here in CA

Today it was so cold that we didn't go down to the beach. But yesterday it was pretty warm. Yesterday we had contest out on the beach. In the contest the contestants were Alex and Kelsie were on a team, Keegan Jeff and I were on a team, Hannah Carris and Emma were on a team, and Dexter was the Judge. Hannah Carris and Emma won though. The Doans left this morning. I can't believe they left! I'm really going to miss them. Right now who I miss most are my friends Jemima, Abby, Madeleine, and Nicky. I can't believe I won't see them for a whole month! Well thats all I have to tell you so bye!

Hi,
Today I'm going to tell you about the title. Isaiah 40:7-8 is a great verse look it up in your Bible .Here's the verse: "The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our GOD stands forever." Isn't that verse amazing? I don't know about you, but I love that verse. I think that, that, verse is beautiful.

Hi,
My Name is Elizabeth Ann Tuten (Lizzy for short.). My friends names are, Jemima, Maddie, Nickey, Grace, Mattie, and Alyssa. They are all very good friends. I like Jemima because she is very kind and really flexible. I like Maddie because she is funny and cute. I like Nickey 'cause he is weirdly funny. Grace and Mattie are lots of fun to play with. Alyssa is so much fun! We get all goofy when we are together!
